I am 18 and in May 2023 was elected as a Liberal Democrat Parish Councillor for Crompton West on Shaw & Crompton Parish Council. This made me the youngest elected official to public office in the UK.

I believe there are key issues within Crompton that need to be improved and also issues that we can’t solve, so how we look at managing them instead.

Such issues include:

• Environmental crime such as dog fouling, fly tipping and litter.
• Improving and protecting our highways including pot holes, gulleys and pavements.
• Maintaining our communal and green spaces. Meaning looking after our parks and footpaths.
• Ensuring the safety of our residents by tackling anti social behaviour (ASB).
